Terror in DC as six die and 12 are injured in gun rampage at Washington Navy Yard: One killer dead but two 'still at large'

Police have reported that two gunmen, including one wearing camouflage, have shot dead four people - two of them police officers - and injured several others at the Washington Naval Yard. Police said the gunmen have now been killed after a three-hour manhunt around D.C.. One gunman was pinned down between the third and fourth floors in a room on the grounds of the naval yard, although this has not been confirmed. Hundreds of SWAT and FBI rapid response units have descended on the nation's capital to deal with the situation. In addition the spokesman added that all of the people wounded are in critical condition and have been rushed to nearby hospitals.
