Tanzania Shines at Blackburn in North England

The Tanzania Tourist Board painted Blackburn town red when they visited to promote Tanzania tourism on the site before a crowd of more than 21,000 people.Blackburn footbal club was formed in 1857.
The number of tourist arrivals from the UK is expected to rise from 53,000 per year to over 100,000 as a result of Tanzania’s aggressive marketing campaign in the European Kingdom.
State owned Tanzania National Parks, Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB), and Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority have teamed up to market tourist attractions in the country through clever advertising during the on-going English Premium league in the UK

The Tanzanian institutions have placed bill boards around six major premier league stadiums, they have paid for “Led Perimeter Advertising, the digital video displays which scroll on the side walls of the stadiums.
It is hoped that the new tourism promotion campaign through sport will persuade visitors from that country and other parts of the world to come to Tanzania .The head of the TTB delegation to the grounds Ms Divota Mdachi said she was so pleased by this achievement and hoped it will attract more tourits to Tanzania
TTB was able to present a Tshirt and DVD of Tanzania Tourism to the man of the martch Mr Gael Givet
