Every two years, Commonwealth leaders meet for a few days to discuss global and Commonwealth issues, and to agree collective policies and initiatives. These summits provide a unique forum for consultation at the highest level of government. They are organised by the host nation in collaboration with the Commonwealth Secretariat.
Uganda AIDS Commission (UAC) and partners are privileged to host the Spouses of the Commonwealth Heads of Government on 24 th November 2007 at Uganda AIDS Commission offices in Ntinda, starting at 8.00 am.
During the session, UAC and partners shared highlights of the national experience along four thematic areas of; Prevention, Care and Treatment; and social support. Presentations shall address: the country's response to the epidemic and the Strategic direction for the country over the next 5 years
